Your adventure begins at 9:00 AM with pickup from your Errachidia hotel. Marvel at the panoramic views of Ziz Valley’s emerald oasis before continuing through fossil-rich Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga where the golden Erg Chebbi dunes await.
In the afternoon, mount your camel for a 1.5-hour trek across the dunes. Watch the sunset paint the sands in fiery hues, try sandboarding, then continue to your desert camp. Enjoy mint tea, a traditional dinner, and Berber music under countless stars before sleeping in your nomad tent.
Wake early for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga and visit Rissani’s lively market (on Sundays/Tuesdays/Thursdays). Travel through Berber villages to Tinghir’s lush palm groves, then discover the dramatic Todra Gorge with its 300-meter cliffs.
After lunch, journey through the winding roads of Dades Valley, known as “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Spend the evening at a local hotel, surrounded by stunning rock formations.
Depart through Rose Valley’s fragrant fields to Ouarzazate, “Morocco’s Hollywood.” Visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios. Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, famous for films like Gladiator.
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m), stopping at Berber villages and scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Marrakech by evening, where your memorable journey concludes.
