In the morning, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes and drive to Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains. Along the way, you will see beautiful hills, olive trees, and small villages. When we arrive in Chefchaouen, we will walk through the medina, the town known for its blue-painted streets.
The tradition of painting the city blue began in the 15th century, and many believe it symbolizes the sky and spirituality. Today, the blue color makes Chefchaouen a peaceful and special place. This is why Chefchaouen is considered one of the 8th most beautiful cities in the world. You will have many chances to take stunning pictures of the beautiful blue walls, creating a perfect memory of this unique city.
Next, we will visit Lahmam Square, a busy public square in the center of the town. It’s a great place to see local life and watch people. After that, we will go to Rass Lma, a spring where locals collect fresh water. The place is surrounded by green nature, and it’s a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the calm.
Then, we will visit the Kasbah Museum, a fortress built in the 15th century by the city’s founder, Moulay Ali Ben Rachid. Inside, there is a museum with old clothes, musical instruments, weapons, and other historical items. The Kasbah garden is a quiet and beautiful place to enjoy
For a great view, you can take a short walk to the Spanish Mosque, built in the 1920s. From here, you can see all of Chefchaouen and the mountains around it. It’s a perfect place for photos!
In the afternoon, we will drive back to Fes, enjoying the beautiful scenery on the way. We will arrive in the evening and drop you off at your accommodation .
