Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We will drive for about 1.5 hours through the countryside, enjoying the views of the Atlas Mountains. On the way, we may stop at a Berber family’s home. You can learn about their way of life, culture, and how they live in the valley. It’s a great chance to see how the Berber people live and to enjoy their warm hospitality.
As we get to the valley, you will see green fields, small rivers, olive trees, and terraced farms. Ourika is very important to the Berber people, and you’ll see how they’ve been farming in this area for many years.
When we arrive in Ourika Valley, you can walk around and visit a Berber village. If it’s a Monday, you can also visit the Berber market to see local goods and culture.
Next, we’ll take a short walk to the Setti Fatma Waterfalls. These waterfalls are one of the most famous places in the valley, offering a peaceful atmosphere and great views. It’s a nice spot to relax, take pictures, and enjoy nature.
After exploring the valley and waterfalls, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the spring and with a beautiful view of the mountains.
A day Trip to Ourika Valley will give you a chance to experience the Berber culture, history, and way of life in a beautiful natural setting. It’s a place where you can learn about traditional farming, local customs, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
After a wonderful day, we will drive back to Marrakech, and our driver will drop you off at your hotel or Riad in the afternoon.
