This is a 12-day trip. It’s a great way to see Morocco. The trip starts in Agadir. Agadir is a city on the coast, near the Anti-Atlas Mountains. On this adventure, you will see many different things. You will see Morocco’s pretty golden beaches. You will see tall, beautiful mountains. You will also see the amazing big sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. You will get to learn about the real culture of Morocco. You will enjoy all the best and most interesting parts of this wonderful country.
When you arrive at Agadir Airport, someone will welcome you warmly. Your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. On the way, they will tell you a little about your exciting trip ahead. After you check in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore Agadir at your own pace.
Maybe you’ll walk through the lively streets, visit the beach, or just enjoy your hotel. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your accommodation.
After a good breakfast, you will go to Essaouira. This is a pretty town by the sea. Essaouira is famous for nice woodwork, colorful art galleries, and a charming silver market. Because it’s so special, it’s called the “Jewel of the Atlantic.” You will visit the old Skala Fortress and the busy harbor. You can also walk through its interesting streets, which show a mix of local and other styles. The town is very windy, which makes it a great place for windsurfers. You will have dinner and stay overnight in a nice riad or hotel.
After breakfast, you can relax a bit more in Essaouira, or you can start your drive to Marrakech. On the way, you will see famous Argan trees, and you might even see goats climbing in their branches. You will also stop at a women’s cooperative where you will learn how Argan oil is used for skin, cooking, and medicine. When you arrive in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel, and the afternoon is free for you to relax. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a hotel or riad.
Day 4: Marrakech Guided City tour
Today, a smart local guide will show you around the lively city of Marrakech. You will visit famous places like the amazing Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa. You will also see the tall Koutoubia Mosque. Then, you will walk through the busy markets (souks), which are full of handmade crafts and souvenirs. After that, you can relax in the peaceful and beautiful Majorelle Gardens. The day ends at the lively Djemaa El-Fna square. Here, performers, food stalls, and storytellers make it an exciting place. You will stay overnight and have breakfast at your riad or hotel.
After breakfast, you will leave Marrakech and go into the big High Atlas Mountains. You will drive through small Berber villages and see fields with walnut and cherry trees until you reach Imlil. Imlil is a pretty village, 1,740 meters high. You will check into your guesthouse there. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a walk through green fields and juniper forests. You will see amazing views of the Imlil and Azaden Valleys and enjoy the calm beauty of the mountains. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a guesthouse or hotel.
Today, you will explore the Atlas Mountain trails. You will walk to the Tizi n’Tamatert Pass, seeing wheat fields and cherry orchards on the way. You will enjoy a picnic with great views of the Toubkal Massif mountains. You will also go through old Berber villages like Tacheddirt and Tinghourine and see how local people live. Then, you will go back to Imlil to stay overnight and have dinner at your guesthouse. Breakfast and dinner are included.
After breakfast, you will go through the amazing Tizi n’Tichka Pass to reach Ait Benhaddou. This is a UNESCO site, an old fort, and a place where many films were made. Next, you will go to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and have lunch. After that, you will head to the Rose Valley, famous for its nice-smelling flowers and a yearly festival. You will end the day in the beautiful Dades Valley, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Start the day by driving through Todra Gorges. This place is great for rock climbers. Continue on old caravan roads to Erfoud. Erfoud is famous for fossils and pretty old buildings. When you arrive in Merzouga, you will change from your car to a camel. Then, you’ll ride the camel into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will spend a magical night under the starry desert sky at a Berber camp. There will be traditional music, and you can try sandboarding.

See a magical sunrise over the dunes. After that, you will ride a camel back to your driver. Visit the busy village of Rissani. You will explore its lively souk (market) there. Travel through the green Draa Valley. This valley is known for its many palm trees and old kasbahs. After having lunch in Alnif, you will continue to Ouarzazate. You will have dinner and stay overnight in a riad or hotel there.
Start your day by exploring Ouarzazate. You will see Kasbah Taourirt and the famous film studios. Then, you will travel through Taliouine, which is Morocco’s main city for saffron. You will have lunch there. After lunch, you will visit Taroudant. People often call it “Little Marrakech.” The day will end when you arrive in Agadir. You will check into your hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Take a guided tour of Agadir. You will start at the historic Kasbah. Then, you will go to the rebuilt Medina Polizzi. You will also explore the busy Souk El Had. This market is full of colorful stalls and local things to buy. In the afternoon, you can relax at your hotel. Or, you can explore the city on your own. You will stay overnight and have dinner at the hotel.
Today, your Morocco trip ends. You will go to Agadir Airport. You will take many memories with you. You’ll remember the lively cities, peaceful mountains, and golden Sahara dunes.
