This 3 Days Desert Tour From Fes takes you from Fes to the Sahara Desert and back. You will visit beautiful towns like Ifrane and Azrou, see monkeys in the Cedar Forest, and enjoy the views of the Ziz Valley. You will spend a night in a desert camp with a Berber drum show. On the last day, you will visit Rissani’s market, see fossils in Erfoud, and return to Fes through the Atlas Mountains.
After breakfast, we depart Fes and head towards the Sahara Desert, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains and charming Berber villages. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” followed by Azrou, where you can see Barbary monkeys in the cedar forest.
After lunch in Midelt, we continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, arriving in Merzouga by evening. Enjoy mint tea and check into your hotel near the Erg Chebbi dunes for an overnight stay.
